Our Pastor

Pastor Tim Klink and his wife Barb grew up in Canton, Ohio and were married in 1968. They have 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. 

Pastor Tim is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Viet Nam War era. He has a Masters Degree in Christian Counselling and a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology. He pastored a church in the Detroit, Michigan area, and has interim pastored several churches over the years, helping them through times of seeking God’s guidance in selecting a new Pastor.

Pastor Tim and Barb founded the Prison Discipleship Ministry in 2011, and have seen thousands of inmates enroll in the Bible study courses which God has allowed him to write. In 2014 he became the Senior Chaplain at Stark County Jail in Canton, Ohio, where he still serves. 

The vision that God has given him is one of building a church for the honor and glory of Jesus Christ who gave everything so that we can have a personal relationship with God the Father.   Goodyear Heights Community Church has a great history, and there is absolutely no reason why God should not continue to receive glory as it moves forward under His direction. 

The greatest days of Goodyear Heights Community Church are yet to come as you join with us to tell the story of the unconditional love that Jesus has for all. As the Word of God is faithfully taught, lives will be changed. As lives are changed, God’s will is accomplished. To know God's Word is to know God’s will; to know God’s will is to know God's Word.
